Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for the Firm's LPMS which consists of Aderant Expert Sierra and Intapp, including troubleshooting, bug fixing and resolution of technical issues
  • Respond to user queries efficiently to minimize disruption and resolution timeframe
  • Setup and manage user accounts, manage configure permissions and ensure proper access controls are in place
  • Collaborate closely with external (Aderant) and internal IT teams to ensure applications integration, stability and security
  • Manage the implementation of application upgrades and patches. Identify issues and escalate/ follow up with vendors on corresponding fixes and improvements
  • Lead application configuration and customization to meet business requirements 
  • Monitor application performance to ensure optimal functionality
  • Perform regular system testing  
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end users on application/ workflow improvement projects
  • Create and maintain documentation related to application support procedures, best practices and troubleshooting FAQs. 
  • Deliver user trainings
  • Ensure the use of the LPMS complies with firm policies, data governance and retention, access controls and the like
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest LPMS trends and innovations  
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives
Qualification / Person Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in application support, technical troubleshooting and user assistance, preferred in legal firms or professional service
  • Experience in collaborating with software development vendors to facilitate application supportability and incident management
  • Experience in system configuration, customization and testing
  • Familiarity with finance & accounting operation and software applications is a plus
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge and experience with Aderant suite of products is a plus
  • Ability to articulate complex technologies to non-technical people and help technical people understand the business requirements better
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Aderant an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities
  • Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
  • Strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment
