Responsibilities
  • Support the Windows desktop image build and deployment processes with experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Operating System Deployment (OSD), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), User State Migration Toolkit (USMT) and User Experience Virtualization (UE-V).
  • Experience with administration of Group Policy for both Windows Desktop and Citrix environments.
  • Experience with VMware Horizon to support the provisioning of VMs for QC, development, or other custom desktop configurations required.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies for Desktop management including Distributed File System (DFS) and Key Management Service (KMS).
  • Support the Windows desktop image build and deployment processes with experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Operating System Deployment (OSD), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), User State Migration Toolkit (USMT) and User Experience Virtualization (UE-V).

  • Experience with Microsoft technologies for Desktop management including Distributed File System (DFS) and Key Management Service (KMS).
  • Provide ongoing administration and support of 3rd party desktop management and security systems such as Nightwatchman and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Bitlocker Administration (MBAM) as well as the core desktop applications. 
  • Experience supporting Symantec Encryption Desktop for Windows
  • Ability to assist with server builds and upgrades for various desktop management systems.
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of  the Firm’s Active Directory as it pertains to the Windows desktop environment and management systems.
  • Consult on Windows desktop issues and initiatives providing 3rd level support.
  • Liaise between Firm management, sponsors, users and other Information Technology personnel to communicate issues regarding Windows desktop status and strategy.
  • Assist with the evaluation of new products, systems and applications deemed to be appropriate to the Firm’s business regarding the Windows desktop environment.
  • Make recommendations to improve the use of the Windows Desktop environment.
  • Asia point of contact and support responsibility for all Desktop Team.
  • Participate in Windows Desktop and management systems related incident, problem and change management.
  • Update Windows Desktop and management systems documentation to support changes to the environment.
  • Assist in the management of the Global Desktop Team’s annual budget as it relates to the Windows desktop environment.
  • Help manage, maintain and administrate the firm’s Citrix environment in Asia including but not limited to Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops, Provisioning Services, Application Delivery Controller/Gateway and StoreFront.
  • Consult on Citrix issues and initiatives providing 3rd level support.
  • Help manage, maintain and administrate the firm’s Document Management environment.  Training will be provided.
Qualification / Person Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience with Microsoft Windows certification (MCSA or MCSE) preferred.
  • 5+ years of working experience with Windows desktop management technologies.
  • 5+ years of working experience with Microsoft Server technologies.
  • 3+ years of working experience with group policy and Active Directory.
  • 3+ years of working experience with Citrix Technologies.
  • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager required.
  • Experience with desktop or server virtualization technologies required.
  • General knowledge of DHCP, DNS, WINS and Internet Protocols.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
  • Document Management experience a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, technology, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess vendor management skills.
  • Client-focused with the ability to develop good relationships.
  • Experienced technical lead who can contribute to the success of the Information Technology team.
  • High level of discretion, comfortable handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.

  • Preference for the ability to read and write traditional and simplified Chinese.
